Yeso's Tomás Eron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Afonso in the 15th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Melchor Ostargi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomás Eron made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Santiago Burutzagi sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Yeso getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Melchor Ostargi hit a great ball. Tacoyoj FC's Conrado Mero got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, Yeso's goalkeeper Tomás Eron had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santiago Burutzagi. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Conrado Mero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tacoyoj FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Conrado Mero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomás Eron breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th minute, Santiago Burutzagi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tacoyoj FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Casado was the one to do the kick off. Yeso's Manuel Casado got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Feliciano Chorche during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tacoyoj FC's Feliciano Chorche got a free kick in the 55th minute. Evelio Katia, 56 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 60 minutes into the game, Conrado Mero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. The tension between the Tacoyoj FC and the Yeso players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 67 minutes, Santiago Burutzagi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tacoyoj FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santiago Burutzagi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benjamin Ipar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Casado, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 76thth minute of the game Manuel Casado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tacoyoj FC's Benjamin Ipar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomás Eron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Burutzagi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Conrado Mero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Eron having to interfere. Tomás Eron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Mero in the 85th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Enrique Camerino got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Manuel Casado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Ipar having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tacoyoj FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Yeso had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
