Spectators: 6662 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sergio Etxeberri started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Gaspar Bertran cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Vladimiro Orlanda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 7th match minute, Tuqui Luli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eulalio Foro to maneuver through the defense. After 11 played minutes Malleo FC got a freekick which was hit by Saverio Romildo. Camilo Roland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Vladimiro Orlanda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mariano Selatse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Abaunza, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 22nd minute, Faustino Txaran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute, Americo Nardo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mariano Selatse was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Ciriaco Chaime kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Malleo FC's Sergio Etxeberri got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37th minute Sergio Etxeberri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 40 played minutes Tuqui Luli got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Txaran. Pastor Rivero hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Gaspar Bertran made the kick off in the second half. Mariano Selatse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Abaunza in the 67th minute of the match. Mariano Selatse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Americo Nardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Tuqui Luli's goal looked a bit too open when Americo Nardo came free, but Mariano Selatse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Selatse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Americo Nardo in the 77th minute of the match. In the 81st minute Sergio Etxeberri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, one of Tuqui Luli:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Vladimiro Orlanda acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 93rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Faustino Txaran. Eulalio Foro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Malleo FC's Vladimiro Orlanda got control of the ball when Eulalio Foro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Tuqui Luli's zone, Aaron Muno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mariano Selatse came out of the goal and Aaron Muno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tuqui Luli's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
