If Hernan Paez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Casimiro Faro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Hernan Paez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nottingham Forest F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Hernan Paez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leandro Juvenal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Amor in the 15th minute of play forced Nottingham Forest F.C.'s goalkeeper Angelo Matia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leandro Juvenal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godfredo Etxeberri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Nottingham Forest F.C. booed when Chañarito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Beila didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute, Hernan Paez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leandro Juvenal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Chañarito FC's Leandro Juvenal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Paez in the 33rd minute of play. Hernan Paez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leandro Juvenal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Martin Michael kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Nottingham Forest F.C.'s Jorge Honesto got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th minute Hernan Paez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Juvenal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorge Honesto was the one to do the kick off. When Jorge Honesto came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Nottingham Forest F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Honesto couldn't finish the play. Angelo Matia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Amor in the 55th minute of the match. Leandro Juvenal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Honesto in the 57th minute of play. Leandro Juvenal didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 59th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. Leandro Juvenal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lázaro Transito went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Leandro Juvenal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Honesto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nottingham Forest F.C.'s Erubiel Chaime was substituted for Hernan Paez. A collision led to Chañarito FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Cosme Gipuzkoa hit a great ball. Jorge Honesto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nottingham Forest F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
