In the 7th minute, Hernan Paez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Peli was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Nottingham Forest F.C.'s Angelo Matia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Librado in the 15th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Godfredo Etxeberri got free with Julio Peli in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. los troncos's Julio Peli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Santiago in the 20th minute of play. Angelo Matia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Librado in the 33rd minute of play. Emanuel Aballe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Angelo Matia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isaias Santiago during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Nottingham Forest F.C. getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Isaias Santiago hit a great ball. Julio Peli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaias Santiago, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 47 minutes into the game, Hernan Paez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Julio Peli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Everardo Librado to strike the kick off in the second half. Godfredo Etxeberri kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Emanuel Aballe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of los troncos booed when Nottingham Forest F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfredo Etxeberri didn't get a good kick on the ball. los troncos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. A well-hit corner resulted in Vicente Ofelio heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. los troncos's Vicente Ofelio came free and shot a quick shot against goal 62 minutes in the game, fortunately Angelo Matia had problems saving as it came toward the left post. When %teams%'s Vicente Ofelio was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 2-1 just inside the left pole, 62 minutes into the game. Angelo Matia was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. 65 minutes into the match, los troncos's goal looked a bit too open when Isaias Santiago came free, but Julio Peli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Peli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isaias Santiago went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. 76 minutes into the match, los troncos's Everardo Librado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angelo Matia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaias Santiago in the 82nd minute of play forced los troncos's goalkeeper Julio Peli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Nottingham Forest F.C. getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Teodoro Gauargi hit a great ball. After having played for 85 minutes, Everardo Librado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. los troncos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Everardo Librado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angelo Matia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everardo Librado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the game, Hernan Paez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Julio Peli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Everardo Librado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Nottingham Forest F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
