Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) los troncos's Everardo Librado started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Julio Peli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Toli, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 17 minutes into the match, los troncos's Emanuel Aballe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roberto Errapel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Reconquista defense, Vicente Ofelio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roberto Errapel. The Reconquista fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roberto Errapel should have stopped the shot. If Emanuel Aballe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roberto Errapel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Aballe in the 24th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, los troncos's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Jurgi came free, but Julio Peli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Peli came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Reconquista's Aristides Toli. But to his dismay, Aristides Toli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. If Vicente Ofelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of los troncos booed when Reconquista was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Jurgi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emanuel Aballe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Roberto Errapel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everardo Librado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romeo Uxio to make the kick off. After some careless play in the los troncos defense, Adolfo Jurgi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Peli. The los troncos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Peli should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Everardo Librado managed to get in a good position for a shot. los troncos's supporters rose to their feet, but Everardo Librado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roberto Errapel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Everardo Librado struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Roberto Errapel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for los troncos. After 61 minutes of play, los troncos's Vicente Ofelio made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roberto Errapel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vicente Ofelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Errapel having to interfere. A collision led to Reconquista getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Sixto Sadurni hit a great ball. Vicente Ofelio struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Roberto Errapel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for los troncos. Nicasio Cordarrol hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Emanuel Aballe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Errapel having to interfere. Emanuel Aballe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 93 played minutes Reconquista got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Jurgi. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by Reconquista's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nicasio Cordarrol was slow to take the kick. During this time los troncos's players had a chance to rest.
