Bernardo Gimenez started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in NN AFC's zone, Hernan Paez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robustiano Karlo came out of the goal and Hernan Paez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Isidro Gerazan fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NN AFC's protests and gave Isidro Gerazan a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, NN AFC's Isidro Gerazan got a free kick in the 11th minute. Robustiano Karlo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaias Santiago in the 12th minute of the match. If Hernan Paez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Godfredo Etxeberri notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of NN AFC's Robustiano Karlo. Robustiano Karlo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 26 minutes, Isaias Santiago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nottingham Forest F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaias Santiago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hernan Paez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 29 minutes of play, Nottingham Forest F.C.'s Isaias Santiago made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Robustiano Karlo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Angelo Matia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Harri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Nottingham Forest F.C.'s Isaias Santiago in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Angelo Matia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Gimenez, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Isidro Gerazan kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Godfredo Etxeberri took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Robustiano Karlo. NN AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 53rd match minute, NN AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Theobald to maneuver through the defense. Isaias Santiago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Robustiano Karlo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Paez in the 72nd minute of play forced NN AFC's goalkeeper Robustiano Karlo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Nottingham Forest F.C. getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Lázaro Transito hit a great ball. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nottingham Forest F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Atilano Felipo was slow to take the kick. During this time NN AFC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Atilano Felipo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nottingham Forest F.C.'s Angelo Matia did a great save. Nottingham Forest F.C.'s Angelo Matia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Nottingham Forest F.C. from getting a goal against them. Angelo Matia made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Augusto Harri sent off a good shot on target. In the 83rd minute, Claudio Berasko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the game, Hernan Paez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nottingham Forest F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NN AFC the free kick. Nottingham Forest F.C.'s Hernan Paez got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Robustiano Karlo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaias Santiago in the 94th minute of play. Angelo Matia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Gimenez, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. When the referee ended the match the Nottingham Forest F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
