Leopoldo Amato helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Uspallata AFC booed when San Martin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Amato didn't get a good kick on the ball. San Martin FC's Albano Procopio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Pietro in the 18th minute of play. Albano Procopio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hernan Pietro went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Jonatan Maiorga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Candido Sal having to make a save. In the 26th minute Hernan Pietro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albano Procopio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 29 minutes, Jonatan Maiorga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Martin FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonatan Maiorga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaudencio Perfecto in the 31st minute of play forced San Martin FC's goalkeeper Albano Procopio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, San Martin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Maju came free, but Albano Procopio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Uspallata AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leopoldo Amato was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Gaudencio Perfecto's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Albano Procopio firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jonatan Maiorga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teofilo Teofilio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Albano Procopio made a huge save. San Martin FC's Jonatan Maiorga got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute Jonatan Maiorga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Sal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albano Procopio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amado Maju in the 67th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Jonatan Maiorga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hernan Pietro hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. San Martin FC's Albano Procopio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Pietro in the 95th minute of play. Candido Sal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonatan Maiorga, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. San Martin FC had played much better football throughout.
