Aristides Otoniel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Aristides Otoniel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Newell´s carajo F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Aristides Otoniel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nacho Fernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nacho Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Otoniel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26 minutes of play, Newell´s carajo F.C's Aristides Otoniel made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nacho Fernandez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nacho Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Otoniel in the 26th minute of the match. Roman Venceslao might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nacho Fernandez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roman Venceslao ran back to his position shaking his head. If Victor Botello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th of the match, Juliāns Álvarez tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Filiberto Enmanuel got in the way and made a wonderful save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Botello got free with Filiberto Enmanuel in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 45 minutes into the match, Guido Gaskon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filiberto Enmanuel. Newell´s carajo F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guido Gaskon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aristides Otoniel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Juliāns Álvarez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Atlético Ginkgo Biloba's Nacho Fernandez got control of the ball when Roman Venceslao tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Juliāns Álvarez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlético Ginkgo Biloba's supporters rose to their feet, but Juliāns Álvarez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filiberto Enmanuel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Atlético Ginkgo Biloba's Guido Gaskon in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juliāns Álvarez in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filiberto Enmanuel saved Newell´s carajo F.C from getting behind. Andres Rivero's late challenge caught a Newell´s carajo F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andres Rivero helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Atlético Ginkgo Biloba getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Andres Rivero hit a great ball. Filiberto Enmanuel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juliāns Álvarez's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. If Victor Botello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 86 minutes, Aristides Otoniel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Newell´s carajo F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aristides Otoniel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juliāns Álvarez in the 91st minute of play forced Newell´s carajo F.C's goalkeeper Filiberto Enmanuel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Atlético Ginkgo Biloba's Victor Botello got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Ginkgo Biloba's zone, Aristides Otoniel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nacho Fernandez came out of the goal and Aristides Otoniel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th match minute, Newell´s carajo F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristides Otoniel to maneuver through the defense. Atlético Ginkgo Biloba walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
