Feliberto Tauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Tiadoro having to interfere. Nestor Kaxen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciriaco Flor in the 25th minute of the match. Feliberto Tauro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Donato Tiadoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iker Balendin during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 35 minutes into the game, Generoso Bazkoare was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olimpo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dream Team the free kick. A collision led to Olimpo getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Generoso Bazkoare hit a great ball. If Iker Balendin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 40 played minutes Olimpo got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Urbez. Iker Balendin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Tiadoro having to interfere. Anacleto Hitzeder charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anacleto Hitzeder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Anacleto Hitzeder kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. In the 50th minute Dream Team were awarded a corner. Urbano Romelio went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Dream Team's corner Urbano Romelio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Donato Tiadoro quite easily take care of the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Dream Team were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Olimpo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Urbano Romelio took the corner. Feliberto Tauro was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 58th minute. Dream Team's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 75 minutes into the match, Dream Team's goal looked a bit too open when Ciriaco Flor came free, but Nestor Kaxen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ciriaco Flor came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Olimpo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciriaco Flor couldn't finish the play. Generoso Bazkoare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donato Tiadoro made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Feliberto Tauro sent off a good shot on target. If Generoso Bazkoare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Dream Team players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Olimpo from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
