Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gualterio Piorno in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Javier Millrick prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 6th match minute, Ugarteche FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Rius to maneuver through the defense. Filomeno Bazil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maria Laura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jairo Laffitte hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 12th match minute, Alta Magia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Laffitte to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 13 minutes, Celedonio Fiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ugarteche FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celedonio Fiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ugarteche FC's Celedonio Fiz got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maria Laura struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Filomeno Bazil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alta Magia. In the 26th minute, Ezequiel Panpili hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zeledon Presebal's late challenge caught a Alta Magia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zeledon Presebal helped the player get up and apologised. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ugarteche FC! After a rather tough play, Ugarteche FC's Osvaldo Bembe got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 47th match minute, Ugarteche FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Ishmael to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in Alta Magia's zone, Gualterio Piorno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Javier Millrick came out of the goal and Gualterio Piorno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Ugarteche FC fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Ugarteche FC's Gualterio Piorno looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Filomeno Bazil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maria Laura in the 62nd minute of play. The supporters of Ugarteche FC booed when Alta Magia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Laffitte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Javier Millrick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Piorno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Javier Millrick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualterio Piorno, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Emilio Rius hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Desiderio Mercurio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alta Magia's supporters rose to their feet, but Desiderio Mercurio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filomeno Bazil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Desiderio Mercurio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Filomeno Bazil made a huge save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Alta Magia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ugarteche FC.
