In the 3rd minute Filomeno Txatxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Pelayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benigno Pelayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Israel Faro in the 9th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Ignacio Geofredo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benigno Pelayo. Noqueoj FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ignacio Geofredo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a rather tough play, Benevento Calcio's Ariel Procopio got a free kick in the 15th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristobal Dalmai got free with Joaquin Omero in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th minute, Filomeno Txatxu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Serafino Taurino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Joaquin Omero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serafino Taurino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the game, Cristobal Dalmai cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Joaquin Omero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 31st minute, Ignacio Geofredo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Serafino Taurino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Joaquin Omero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Noqueoj FC's Benigno Pelayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Israel Faro in the 37th minute of play. Benigno Pelayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Israel Faro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 42 minutes, Cristobal Dalmai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Noqueoj FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristobal Dalmai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ignacio Geofredo might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benigno Pelayo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ignacio Geofredo ran back to his position shaking his head. Israel Faro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Pelayo having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

55 minutes into the match, Serafino Taurino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Omero. Benevento Calcio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Serafino Taurino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Danilo Manex hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Benevento Calcio's Ignacio Geofredo got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Israel Faro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Benigno Pelayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristobal Dalmai might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquin Omero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristobal Dalmai ran back to his position shaking his head. 67 minutes into the match, Noqueoj FC's goal looked a bit too open when Israel Faro came free, but Benigno Pelayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Benevento Calcio defense, Serafino Taurino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Omero. The Benevento Calcio fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Omero should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Filomeno Txatxu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benigno Pelayo was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Joaquin Omero came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Noqueoj FC's Serafino Taurino. But to his dismay, Serafino Taurino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. If Cristobal Dalmai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 88 minutes, Filomeno Txatxu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Benevento Calcio and the Noqueoj FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Noqueoj FC booed when Benevento Calcio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filomeno Txatxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Benevento Calcio's zone, Cristobal Dalmai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Omero came out of the goal and Cristobal Dalmai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Israel Faro came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Benevento Calcio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Israel Faro couldn't finish the play.
