After having played for 29 minutes, Cristobal Florian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Boris's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristobal Florian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mauricio Laurin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomiro Onofre in the 32nd minute of play. If Albano Afonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eugenio Cordara kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Ciriaco Blanco made the kick off in the second half. Mauricio Laurin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciriaco Blanco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deportivo Boris's Mauricio Laurin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Boris from getting a goal against them. For all the effort they put into the match, the Metaguacha FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Deportivo Boris.
