The Benevento Calcio fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Omero should have stopped the shot. Israel Faro hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. The Los Canarios FC fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Los Canarios FC's Alejo Argider looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Gualterio Sayveon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the game, Los Canarios FC's Gualterio Sayveon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Benevento Calcio's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Miguel Salvator was slow to take the kick. During this time Los Canarios FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Miguel Salvator almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Benevento Calcio's Joaquin Omero did a great save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Israel Faro to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Los Canarios FC got a freekick which was hit by Israel Pietro. The supporters of Los Canarios FC booed when Benevento Calcio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Basajaun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ignacio Geofredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alejo Argider in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Omero saved Benevento Calcio from getting behind. 88 minutes into the match, Benevento Calcio's goalkeeper Joaquin Omero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gualterio Sayveon. Modesto Sugoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luis Basajaun during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Benevento Calcio's Luis Basajaun got a free kick in the 90th minute. Los Canarios FC's Gualterio Sayveon got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Los Canarios FC booed when Benevento Calcio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Nastasio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over Los Canarios FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Benevento Calcio throughout the match.
