Benevento Calcio's Joaquin Omero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Checa in the 17th minute of play. Ignacio Geofredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Etor having to interfere. Igor Fagondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Igor Fagondo to strike the kick off in the second half. Igor Fagondo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacinto Checa got free with Joaquin Omero in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Ignacio Geofredo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geronimo Etor was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. If Ignacio Geofredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the game, Constantino Balesio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Luro FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Benevento Calcio the free kick. If Igor Fagondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. Joaquin Omero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Fagondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Benevento Calcio's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Fagondo came free, but Joaquin Omero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benevento Calcio's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
