The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Haroldo Indalecio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siro Playo in the 6th minute of play. Koke Branca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Haroldo Indalecio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Futbol Club Oeste's zone, Cornelio Quin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haroldo Indalecio came out of the goal and Cornelio Quin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 18 minutes into the match, Dionisio Gustau had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Haroldo Indalecio. Futbol Club Oeste's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dionisio Gustau was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Fermin Brun charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fermin Brun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fermin Brun hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After having played for 22 minutes, Koke Branca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Higuain FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Koke Branca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Futbol Club Oeste getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Arturo Lugo hit a great ball. When Israel Emmanuel fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Futbol Club Oeste's protests and gave Israel Emmanuel a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Futbol Club Oeste getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Israel Emmanuel hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Dionisio Gustau managed to get in a good position for a shot. Higuain FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dionisio Gustau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Haroldo Indalecio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 36th minute Israel Emmanuel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Txordon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Futbol Club Oeste getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Fermin Brun hit a great ball. In the 48th match minute, Higuain FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 史南景 to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Koke Branca to make the kick off. Dionisio Gustau took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Haroldo Indalecio. Haroldo Indalecio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Koke Branca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Haroldo Indalecio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dionisio Gustau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Koke Branca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 74 minutes, 史南景 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Higuain FC and the Futbol Club Oeste players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Futbol Club Oeste booed when Higuain FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. 史南景 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dionisio Gustau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Haroldo Indalecio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Koke Branca in the 82nd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Haroldo Indalecio kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-4 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Koke Branca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Indalecio having to interfere. The Futbol Club Oeste fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Higuain FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
