Aquiles Illart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Arotza having to interfere. If Aquiles Illart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. TikiTiki Fc's Maximiliano Arotza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Illart in the 39th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, TikiTiki Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Sixto Oliverios came free, but Maximiliano Arotza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Illart in the 43rd minute of play forced TikiTiki Fc's goalkeeper Maximiliano Arotza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The TikiTiki Fc players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gimnasia LP 22 were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Aquiles Illart made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severo Egun during the 51st minute. The supporters of Gimnasia LP 22 booed when TikiTiki Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfredo Quirce didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gimnasia LP 22's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alejandro Cefero in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute Nestor Balesio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Fagildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
