In the 18th minute of the match Conrado Macias shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Remigio Jon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Wilde's goal looked a bit too open when Zacarias Acuña came free, but Remigio Jon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamin Cibran in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gaspar Ceandro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Benjamin Cibran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Gaspar Ceandro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th match minute, River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Galo to maneuver through the defense. Benjamin Cibran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Ceandro having to interfere. If Ermegildo Galindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, River Plate's Adolfo Gaztea got a free kick in the 43rd minute. If Benjamin Cibran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gaspar Ceandro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermegildo Galindo, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. River Plate's Gaspar Ceandro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save River Plate from getting a goal against them.

In the 51st minute, Zacarias Acuña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaspar Ceandro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benjamin Cibran went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Wilde getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Rodrigo Cresencio hit a great ball. In the 61st minute, Casimiro Frichoso sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and River Plate's Gaspar Ceandro didn't even have to move. In the 63rd minute, Ermegildo Galindo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Benjamin Cibran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isidoro Quexal during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 66 played minutes River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Quexal. After 72 minutes of play, Wilde's Rodrigo Cresencio made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gaspar Ceandro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gaspar Ceandro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermegildo Galindo, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermegildo Galindo in the 79th minute of play forced River Plate's goalkeeper Gaspar Ceandro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th match minute, River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Galo to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Benjamin Cibran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, River Plate's Isidro Nesto got a free kick in the 95th minute. Benjamin Cibran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There was no doubt that Wilde were the better team. Wilde's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
