Alfonso Etor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfredo Enol having to interfere. Wilfredo Enol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tadeo Larra's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Carmelo Hermelando's late challenge caught a Mayuka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carmelo Hermelando helped the player get up and apologised. 40 minutes into the game, one of Rincón AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 42nd minute there was a penalty for Mayuka. Justo Deunoro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Wilfredo Enol. 0-1. When Tadeo Larra came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Mayuka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tadeo Larra couldn't finish the play. Tadeo Larra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Wilfredo Enol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfonso Etor was the one to do the kick off. Teodoro Arixo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Rincón AFC's Godofredo Caetano got a free kick in the 55th minute. 56 minutes into the game, Alfonso Etor lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Wilfredo Enol. In the 59th minute, Jimeno Rufo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rincón AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Alfonso Etor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tadeo Larra struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Wilfredo Enol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mayuka. In the 68th minute, Teodoro Arixo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Silvano Loiola charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvano Loiola the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Rincón AFC booed when Mayuka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvano Loiola didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 76 minutes of play, Rincón AFC's Domingos Mateus made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edelmiro Guilabertus was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Alfonso Etor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. With a left leg Wilfredo Enol saved Rincón AFC from getting behind. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rincón AFC's goalkeeper Wilfredo Enol, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tadeo Larra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Wilfredo Enol made a huge save.
