The referee showed Ceferino Ekain the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 85th minute, Saturnino Bento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilfredo Enol was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Candioti's Alvaro Gorbea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Candioti from getting a goal against them. Venancio Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Candioti fans cheered their team off the field, for while Rincón AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
