Spectators: 7267 (Terracing: 5452, Seating: 1671, VIP seats: 144) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Celedonio Naike got the match started through his kick off. Godofredo Caetano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Dionisio Milian made a huge save. HIV's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Teodosio Quintan in the 11th minute. Tiburcio Domeka hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 13thth minute of the game Tiburcio Domeka who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rincón AFC's Wilfredo Enol was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Venancio Barbosa came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Rincón AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Venancio Barbosa couldn't finish the play. Celedonio Naike fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfredo Enol having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Rincón AFC's Domingos Mateus got a free kick in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the game, HIV's Tiburcio Domeka nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilfredo Enol made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Tiburcio Domeka came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the HIV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiburcio Domeka couldn't finish the play. After 36 minutes, Hilario Etxekopar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the HIV and the Rincón AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hilario Etxekopar kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Jimeno Rufos short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Dionisio Milian to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Venancio Barbosa was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 40th minute. Rincón AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Jimeno Rufo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Milian having to interfere. When HIV's Celedonio Naike in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rincón AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Celedonio Naike struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Wilfredo Enol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for HIV. If Tiburcio Domeka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Venancio Barbosa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Rincón AFC got a freekick which was hit by Carmelo Hermelando. 55 minutes into the match, HIV's Teodosio Quintan broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 61st minute Celedonio Naike shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfredo Enol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tiburcio Domeka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domingos Mateus charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Domingos Mateus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 73 played minutes Rincón AFC got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Mateus. Teodosio Quintan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 74th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When HIV's Celedonio Naike in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rincón AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Fabio Nisio hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute, Celedonio Naike got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Rincón AFC's zone, Celedonio Naike stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilfredo Enol came out of the goal and Celedonio Naike tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 95 minutes, Celedonio Naike managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. HIV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celedonio Naike was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Rincón AFC's zone, Tiburcio Domeka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilfredo Enol came out of the goal and Tiburcio Domeka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. HIV's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
