Spectators: 6945 (Terracing: 5415, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 30) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Narcis Pivniceru got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Rustico's goalkeeper Angelo Luix had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfonso Etor. Narcis Pivniceru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Guilabertus having to interfere. In the 9th minute of the match Rustico got a corner. Mayuka's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alonzo Oliverio ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mayuka's Edelmiro Guilabertus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narcis Pivniceru in the 11th minute of play. Dario Diaz hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Angelo Luix made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Alfonso Etor sent off a good shot on target. 16 minutes into the match, Alfonso Etor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Angelo Luix. Rustico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfonso Etor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 20 minutes into the match, Mayuka's goal looked a bit too open when Narcis Pivniceru came free, but Edelmiro Guilabertus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute Narcis Pivniceru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Guilabertus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodoro Damario hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Aquiles Aires managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mayuka's supporters rose to their feet, but Aquiles Aires was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Luix breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Narcis Pivniceru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Edelmiro Guilabertus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfonso Etor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Angelo Luix made a huge save. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mayuka's goalkeeper Edelmiro Guilabertus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Narcis Pivniceru in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edelmiro Guilabertus saved Mayuka from getting behind. Dario Diaz kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Aquiles Aires's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelo Luix read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Edelmiro Guilabertus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narcis Pivniceru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dario Diaz in the 44th minute of play forced Mayuka's goalkeeper Edelmiro Guilabertus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfonso Etor to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Rustico's zone, Aquiles Aires stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Luix came out of the goal and Aquiles Aires tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfonso Etor struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Angelo Luix didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mayuka. If Alfonso Etor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelo Luix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeo Larra in the 84th minute of play. Narcis Pivniceru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angelo Luix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Etor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
