In the 9th minute, Dioses's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Geronimo Ospin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Cañada FC booed when Dioses was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciriaco Ofelio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Geronimo Ospin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cañada FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Geronimo Ospin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severino Sesuldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Romulo Etxahun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Eate having to interfere. In the 19th minute Angelino Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Sesuldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romulo Etxahun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Eate having to interfere. 26 minutes into the game, Melchor Mendez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dioses's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cañada FC the free kick. In the 26th minute, Melchor Mendez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, Dioses's goalkeeper Severino Sesuldo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Geronimo Ospin. A collision led to Cañada FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Gaspar Montes hit a great ball. Teodoro Eate made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Cordarin in the 48th minute of play.

Romulo Etxahun scored 0-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teodoro Eate, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Dioses's Ciriaco Ofelio got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Teodoro Eate made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romulo Etxahun in the 65th minute. Melchor Mendez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victorino Mosen during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Victorino Mosen hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Cañada FC's Teodoro Eate got control of the ball when Romulo Etxahun tried to sneak it across the goal line. Candido Quentin charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Candido Quentin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Dioses getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Candido Quentin hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geronimo Ospin in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severino Sesuldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Geronimo Ospin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciro Cordarin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cañada FC's Teodoro Eate proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Cañada FC from getting a goal against them. Victorino Mosen kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th minute Ciro Cordarin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Eate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute, Angelino Ramos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Fabio Darien managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cañada FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabio Darien was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severino Sesuldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cañada FC's Angelino Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Dioses had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
