Melchor Mendez kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 37th minute Saturnino Cordario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Sesuldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. El Canaya Fc's Venancio Vachon got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Venancio Vachon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Severino Sesuldo having to make a save. Severino Sesuldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Venancio Vachon in the 46th minute. Venancio Vachon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Dioses were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saturnino Cordario stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gregorio Romildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Cordarin in the 61st minute of the match. El Canaya Fc's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ciro Cordarin 66 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. 69 minutes into the game, Ciro Cordarin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gregorio Romildo. Ciro Cordarin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. 80 minutes into the game, El Canaya Fc's Saturnino Cordario nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severino Sesuldo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Dioses's Severino Sesuldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venancio Vachon in the 83rd minute of play. Venancio Vachon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Sesuldo having to interfere. Severino Sesuldo came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by El Canaya Fc's Venancio Vachon. But to his dismay, Venancio Vachon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. Romulo Etxahun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Gregorio Romildo made a huge save. When Fernan Benvido fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Canaya Fc's protests and gave Fernan Benvido a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th match minute, El Canaya Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernan Benvido to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see El Canaya Fc lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
