In the 13th minute, Balbus FC's Arnulfo Porfirio seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Arnulfo Porfirio the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Balbus FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Arnulfo Porfirio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee gave Quetrequén AFC a penalty, 14 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mateo Estebe, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Balbus FC's German Otoniel. 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Olentzaro in the 20th minute of play forced Balbus FC's goalkeeper German Otoniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Arnulfo Hechter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Melchor Fe made a precise shot to the right of Romulo Sugoi. Quetrequén AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Romulo Sugoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulfo Hechter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mateo Estebe kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Balbus FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cleto Niguel in the 30th minute. Arsenio Natanael kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Melchor Fe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Romulo Sugoi made a huge save. Edgard Hori charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgard Hori the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Quetrequén AFC's Edgard Hori got a free kick in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Quetrequén AFC's goalkeeper Romulo Sugoi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Romulo Sugoi came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Balbus FC's Arnulfo Hechter. But to his dismay, Arnulfo Hechter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Romulo Sugoi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Melchor Fe's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. When Jeremias Romero fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Balbus FC's protests and gave Jeremias Romero a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Quetrequén AFC booed when Balbus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aldo Rocendo got free with German Otoniel in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnulfo Hechter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Quetrequén AFC's zone, Arnulfo Hechter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romulo Sugoi came out of the goal and Arnulfo Hechter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Melchor Fe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Romulo Sugoi having to make a save. Lucio Illan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Romulo Sugoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mateo Estebe hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the game, Alfredo Walme was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Balbus FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quetrequén AFC the free kick. After 84 played minutes Balbus FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Walme. German Otoniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Olentzaro in the 88th minute of the match. Balbus FC's Alfredo Walme got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Melchor Fe struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Romulo Sugoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balbus FC. When Alfredo Walme came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Balbus FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Walme couldn't finish the play. Melchor Fe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Balbus FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
