Astor Sazon's late challenge caught a Dioses's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Astor Sazon helped the player get up and apologised. After 15 played minutes Quetrequén AFC got a freekick which was hit by Astor Sazon. Dioses's Ciro Cordarin got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ciro Cordarin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Romulo Sugoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Melchor Mendez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Dioses's Candido Quentin got a free kick in the 35th minute. Mateo Estebe took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Severino Sesuldo. Dioses's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Aldo Rocendo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quetrequén AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aldo Rocendo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severino Sesuldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ciro Cordarin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Romulo Sugoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ciro Cordarin was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Dioses getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Haroldo Bieito hit a great ball. When Pablo Olentzaro, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 55 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Severino Sesuldo was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Severino Sesuldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Olentzaro in the 57th minute of the match. Severino Sesuldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Olentzaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dioses's Severino Sesuldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Olentzaro in the 63rd minute of play. Romulo Sugoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Cordarin in the 68th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciro Cordarin in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romulo Sugoi saved Quetrequén AFC from getting behind. 76 minutes into the game, Serafino Ponciano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quetrequén AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dioses the free kick. The referee gave Dioses a penalty, 77 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Haroldo Bieito, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Quetrequén AFC's Romulo Sugoi. 1-0. Romulo Sugoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Cordarin in the 89th minute of the match. Dioses's Severino Sesuldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Dioses from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Pablo Olentzaro took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Severino Sesuldo to make any attempt to save it. The Quetrequén AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Dioses from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
