The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes MMCE FC got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Maurino. Nicanor Demario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Segundo Isidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Tohias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the game, Arturo Tohias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Segundo Isidor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bernardino Jax who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Marco Lauren when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Segundo Isidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicanor Demario in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th match minute, Estrella del Sur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Endira to maneuver through the defense. When Nicanor Demario came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the MMCE FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicanor Demario couldn't finish the play. Nicanor Demario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Segundo Isidor having to interfere. Marco Lauren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Oliviero in the 33rd minute of play. Segundo Isidor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicanor Demario in the 42nd minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, Arturo Tohias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Segundo Isidor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Nicanor Demario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicanor Demario spun around in front of the goal 56 minutes in the game and got away a good shot, but Segundo Isidor grabbed the ball before it went up in top right corner. Segundo Isidor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arturo Tohias in the 58th minute. After 59 played minutes Estrella del Sur got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Godoy. When MMCE FC's Arturo Tohias, in the 60th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for MMCE FC. 62 minutes into the match, Estrella del Sur's goal looked a bit too open when Nicanor Demario came free, but Segundo Isidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Bartolo Oliviero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jairo Izotz kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, MMCE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolo Oliviero came free, but Marco Lauren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Bartolo Oliviero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Lauren. MMCE FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bartolo Oliviero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. If Arturo Tohias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 82 played minutes MMCE FC got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Tohias. Arturo Tohias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Segundo Isidor having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Demario in the 90th minute of play forced Estrella del Sur's goalkeeper Segundo Isidor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arturo Tohias during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to MMCE FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Arturo Tohias hit a great ball. If Bartolo Oliviero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MMCE FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
