German Otoniel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Teodoro Eate stood somewhat misplaced when Leo Abajas came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 7 minute. When Balbus FC's Leo Abajas in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cañada FC's goalie prevented a goal. Melchor Fe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Eate having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Cañada FC's goalkeeper Teodoro Eate had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Melchor Fe. The audience thought a goal was coming when Melchor Fe got free with Teodoro Eate in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicasio Monico hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Teodoro Eate showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Abajas, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Teodoro Eate showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Abajas in the 25th minute of the match. In the 31st match minute, Cañada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorino Mosen to maneuver through the defense. Melchor Fe struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Teodoro Eate didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balbus FC. Teodoro Eate showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Walme, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Leo Abajas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Eate having to interfere. Teodoro Eate didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 38th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. Leo Abajas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredo Walme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Teodoro Eate tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in Cañada FC's zone, Arnulfo Hechter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodoro Eate came out of the goal and Arnulfo Hechter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Balbus FC booed when Cañada FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Melchor Fe came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Balbus FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melchor Fe couldn't finish the play. Teodoro Eate came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Balbus FC's Melchor Fe. But to his dismay, Melchor Fe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. If Alfredo Walme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Melchor Fe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Balbus FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Arsenio Natanael kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Teodoro Eate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melchor Fe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. German Otoniel made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Geronimo Ospin sent off a good shot on target. 88 minutes into the game, Lucio Illan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Balbus FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cañada FC the free kick. In the 97th minute Melchor Fe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Eate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
