Emiliano Havier came out of the goal and Aquiles Bixintxo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Villa Atuel FC's Emiliano Havier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Bixintxo in the 11th minute of play. Celso Honrio's late challenge caught a Falckner's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celso Honrio helped the player get up and apologised. Villa Atuel FC's Gaudencio Liher got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeremias Egun in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emiliano Havier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Gaudencio Liher managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villa Atuel FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaudencio Liher was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santo Kaiet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Falckner getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Isidoro Hartz hit a great ball. The supporters of Falckner booed when Villa Atuel FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Honrio didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aquiles Bixintxo in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emiliano Havier saved Villa Atuel FC from getting behind. Gaudencio Liher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Santo Kaiet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeremias Egun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emiliano Havier having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Aquiles Bixintxo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emiliano Havier was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Gaudencio Liher struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Santo Kaiet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villa Atuel FC.
