An unexpectedly hard shot by Erubiel Euloxu in the 5th minute of play forced Union FC's goalkeeper Federico Oroitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Tristan took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Federico Oroitz. Federico Oroitz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. A collision led to Teodolina getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Erubiel Euloxu hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the game, Jaime Bernaldo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Union FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Teodolina the free kick. After a rather tough play, Union FC's Jaime Bernaldo got a free kick in the 18th minute. 20 minutes into the game, Teodolina's Lisandro Unai nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Federico Oroitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. If Lisandro Unai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute of the match Claudio Palben shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Federico Oroitz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Federico Oroitz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christian Tristan went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Federico Oroitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Unai in the 42nd minute of the match. Federico Oroitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Unai in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Igor Joey to make the kick off. Lisandro Unai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Union FC's Manuel Quintan got a free kick in the 55th minute. Union FC's Federico Oroitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Unai in the 56th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Igor Joey got free with Cirilo Ignado in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 64th minute, one of Union FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Union FC. If Christian Tristan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Federico Oroitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Unai in the 74th minute of the match. Christian Tristan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Federico Oroitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Union FC's Jaime Bernaldo got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After some careless play in the Union FC defense, Lisandro Unai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Federico Oroitz. The Union FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Federico Oroitz should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabio Lauren during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Union FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Fabio Lauren hit a great ball. Federico Oroitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Unai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Teodolina were the better team. Teodolina's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
