When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Hipolito Otoniel sped through Mebla por siempre's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adrian Regis. The Mebla por siempre players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Zenit Club were winning 1-2.

In the 73rd minute, Severiano Gomesano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76thth minute of the game Epifanio Urdaspal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zenit Club's Dante Intxixu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Bonifaco in the 77th minute of play forced Zenit Club's goalkeeper Dante Intxixu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Mebla por siempre's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Palos came free, but Adrian Regis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Zenit Club's zone, Epifanio Urdaspal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Intxixu came out of the goal and Epifanio Urdaspal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 90 minutes, Ramiro Bonifaco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mebla por siempre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramiro Bonifaco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
