Dante Intxixu came out of the goal and Nicanor Garaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristobal Feliu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dante Intxixu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Zenit Club's Dante Intxixu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Zenit Club from getting a goal against them. In the 20th play minute Nicanor Garaona came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dante Intxixu. 1-0. Dante Intxixu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Remigio in the 23rd minute of play. Arnaldo Diegotxe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Palos in the 25th minute of the match. Benedicto Remigio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Intxixu having to interfere. Nicanor Garaona blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Intxixu having to make a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Arnaldo Diegotxe made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Hipolito Otoniel sent off a good shot on target. Hipolito Otoniel might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnaldo Diegotxe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hipolito Otoniel ran back to his position shaking his head. Narciso Palos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Arnaldo Diegotxe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hipolito Otoniel struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Arnaldo Diegotxe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zenit Club. After a rather tough play, Curiosity killed the cat's Cristobal Feliu got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Dante Intxixu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Remigio in the 96th minute of play. Curiosity killed the cat's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
