In the 9th minute of the match Venancio Weterio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Federico Oroitz skillfully saved the ball. Nicanor Garaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Union FC's Cleto Nuno managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Arnaldo Ciceron in the 15 minute of the game. With 16 minutes on the clock, Cleto Nuno commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Curiosity killed the cat's Venancio Weterio couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 17th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Union FC. Nicanor Garaona's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Federico Oroitz firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jaime Bernaldo charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaime Bernaldo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Federico Oroitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedicto Remigio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Nicanor Garaona could shoot a difficult shot in the 36th minute, which Federico Oroitz however easily saved by the left post. Federico Oroitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Remigio in the 39th minute of play. Benedicto Remigio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Federico Oroitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Nicanor Garaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Curiosity killed the cat's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicanor Garaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Federico Oroitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Federico Oroitz made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Nicanor Garaona sent off a good shot on target. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nemesio Musko to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Union FC's zone, Nicanor Garaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Federico Oroitz came out of the goal and Nicanor Garaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Union FC's Federico Oroitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Remigio in the 55th minute of play. If Nicanor Garaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Quintan kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After 62 played minutes, Curiosity killed the cat's Venancio Weterio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Federico Oroitz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Curiosity killed the cat reached it. In the 64th minute, Nestor Maiorga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Union FC's Federico Oroitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicanor Garaona in the 70th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Union FC's zone, Benedicto Remigio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Federico Oroitz came out of the goal and Benedicto Remigio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th minute of the match Elias Richie sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Federico Oroitz skillfully saved the ball. In the 83rd minute, Nicanor Garaona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Federico Oroitz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Union FC's Federico Oroitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Remigio in the 87th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Union FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Remigio came free, but Federico Oroitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benedicto Remigio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 91 minutes into the game, Nicanor Garaona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Federico Oroitz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Federico Oroitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Remigio in the 96th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Curiosity killed the cat players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
