Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) Carpintería's Aquiles Valiente started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hipolito Otoniel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Federico Ponciano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Federico Ponciano came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Zenit Club's Hipolito Otoniel. But to his dismay, Hipolito Otoniel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Aquiles Valiente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dante Intxixu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pablo Austin in the 13th minute. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zenit Club's goalkeeper Dante Intxixu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carpintería's Federico Ponciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Palos in the 22nd minute of play. Carpintería's Pablo Austin got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 27 minutes, Erubiel Lizbeth mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zenit Club and the Carpintería players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zenit Club's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Aquiles Valiente 30 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Carpintería's Federico Ponciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hipolito Otoniel in the 39th minute of play. After 39 played minutes Carpintería got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Eguen. The supporters of Zenit Club booed when Carpintería was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquiles Valiente didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zenit Club's Narciso Palos got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Zenit Club's zone, Aquiles Valiente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Intxixu came out of the goal and Aquiles Valiente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Narciso Palos made the kick off in the second half. Carpintería's Federico Ponciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Palos in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute Pablo Austin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Intxixu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Zenit Club's Narciso Palos in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carpintería's goalie prevented a goal. Aquiles Valiente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hipolito Otoniel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Federico Ponciano skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 66 minutes, Pablo Austin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carpintería's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pablo Austin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th minute, Pablo Austin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Carpintería's Pablo Austin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Intxixu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 73rd minute Angelo Joachim suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Eduardo Belo's late challenge caught a Zenit Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduardo Belo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Zenit Club booed when Carpintería was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Belo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dante Intxixu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Austin, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. If Aquiles Valiente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zenit Club's goalkeeper Dante Intxixu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 93 minutes into the match, Aquiles Valiente had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Intxixu. Zenit Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aquiles Valiente was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1.
