Bonifacio Maldonado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11thth minute of the game Christian Tristan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Union FC's Federico Oroitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Union FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Unai came free, but Federico Oroitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, Erubiel Euloxu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute, Union FC's Manuel Quintan seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Manuel Quintan the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Union FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Manuel Quintan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of Union FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Teodolina:s goal. In the 31st minute of the match Prospero Francho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Federico Oroitz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Unai in the 32nd minute of play forced Union FC's goalkeeper Federico Oroitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Lisandro Unai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Union FC's Federico Oroitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Unai in the 40th minute of play. Federico Oroitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Unai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lisandro Unai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Federico Oroitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th match minute, Union FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bonifacio Maldonado to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Federico Oroitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Federico Oroitz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lisandro Unai showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 94 minute of play. Teodolina's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
