Zeledon Bermudez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Abeitia in the 30th minute of play. If Fabio Bibiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. Ariel Paskal didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Once Pitus's Godofredo Lamberto shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. The referee ignored Once Pitus's protests and gave Benigno Indartsu a yellow card for diving instead. After 49 minutes Once Pitus's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Victorino Kismi who took care of the corner kick. GOBERNADOR-NEGAN TWD's Victorino Kismi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Zeledon Bermudez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The supporters of Once Pitus booed when GOBERNADOR-NEGAN TWD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Silvanito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Godofredo Lamberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Ariel Paskal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnulfo Curcio during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Once Pitus's Serafin Gauargi got a free kick in the 67th minute. If Godofredo Lamberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The tension between the GOBERNADOR-NEGAN TWD and the Once Pitus players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ariel Paskal acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 80th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Amadeo Gilabert. The audience thought a goal was coming when Godofredo Lamberto got free with Ariel Paskal in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Once Pitus's Fabio Bibiano got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teofilo Silvanito during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fabio Bibiano struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Ariel Paskal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Once Pitus. After a defensive mix-up in GOBERNADOR-NEGAN TWD's zone, Godofredo Lamberto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ariel Paskal came out of the goal and Godofredo Lamberto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
