The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Reverendo Alegria FC. Nestor Tadzio took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Osvaldo Rocendo. Osvaldo Rocendo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Nestor Sidro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Osvaldo Rocendo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nestor Sidro in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osvaldo Rocendo saved C.A.Tigre from getting behind. In the 30thth minute of the game Nestor Sidro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A.Tigre's Osvaldo Rocendo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leopoldo Cebo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evaristo Olayo in the 32nd minute. Reverendo Alegria FC's Leopoldo Cebo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Reverendo Alegria FC from getting a goal against them. C.A.Tigre's Teo Rami got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leopoldo Cebo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante Henric, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After 46 played minutes Reverendo Alegria FC got a freekick which was hit by Melchor Alfonso. The C.A.Tigre players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Reverendo Alegria FC were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teo Rami made a kick off. In the 65th match minute, C.A.Tigre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Soter to maneuver through the defense. Nestor Tadzio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Rocendo having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Nestor Sidro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. C.A.Tigre's Osvaldo Rocendo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Tadzio in the 74th minute of play. Osvaldo Rocendo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nestor Sidro in the 74th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nestor Tadzio in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osvaldo Rocendo saved C.A.Tigre from getting behind. Melchor Alfonso hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute of the game, Teo Rami landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 89 minutes, Prospero Vermudo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Reverendo Alegria FC and the C.A.Tigre players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Reverendo Alegria FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 88th minute. Penalty! The referee gave C.A.Tigre a penalty, 92 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sixto Erasto, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Reverendo Alegria FC's Leopoldo Cebo. 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Reverendo Alegria FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
