Spectators: 6588 (Terracing: 5488, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jesus Dantel started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Cirilo Kimetz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jesus Dantel in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osvaldo Rocendo saved C.A.Tigre from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 14th minute by Jesus Dantel got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Cirilo Kimetz managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Pedro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cirilo Kimetz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osvaldo Rocendo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonides Egoitz during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th minute Jesus Dantel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Rocendo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Cirilo Kimetz fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Osvaldo Rocendo, passed just outside the right post. Cirilo Kimetz came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Osvaldo Rocendo could save by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jesus Dantel in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osvaldo Rocendo saved C.A.Tigre from getting behind. Cirilo Kimetz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When San Pedro FC's Jesus Dantel, in the 31st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for San Pedro FC. 32 minutes into the match, C.A.Tigre's goalkeeper Osvaldo Rocendo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cirilo Kimetz. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Soter during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Osvaldo Rocendo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesus Dantel, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Osvaldo Rocendo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cirilo Kimetz in the 42nd minute. If Jesus Dantel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Marciano Gasteiz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evaristo Olayo in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute, San Pedro FC's Higinio Perrando seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Higinio Perrando the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of San Pedro FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Higinio Perrando had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to San Pedro FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Higinio Perrando hit a great ball. Sixto Erasto struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Marciano Gasteiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A.Tigre. If Jesus Dantel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugo Jesco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Rocendo having to interfere. Marciano Gasteiz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Marcos Pabla. A collision led to San Pedro FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Angelino Navarro hit a great ball. Osvaldo Rocendo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesus Dantel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Osvaldo Rocendo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesus Dantel in the 73rd minute of play. After 75 played minutes C.A.Tigre got a freekick which was hit by Teo Rami. In the 78th minute, Cirilo Kimetz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evaristo Olayo during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 81 played minutes C.A.Tigre got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Olayo. After some careless play in the C.A.Tigre defense, Nestor Fernendo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osvaldo Rocendo. The C.A.Tigre fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osvaldo Rocendo should have stopped the shot. Jesus Dantel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th minute, Nestor Fernendo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San Pedro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0.
