Osvaldo Lorenz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Bartolo Mateus came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Dematik fans jumped to their feet. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teo Rami in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alejandro Firman saved Dematik from getting behind. Evaristo Olayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osvaldo Lorenz struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Osvaldo Rocendo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dematik. In the 41stth minute of the game Bartolo Mateus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A.Tigre's Osvaldo Rocendo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Dematik's zone, Evaristo Olayo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejandro Firman came out of the goal and Evaristo Olayo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47thth minute of the game Osvaldo Lorenz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A.Tigre's Osvaldo Rocendo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bartolo Mateus made a kick off. Dante Henric's late challenge caught a Dematik's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dante Henric helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to C.A.Tigre getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Dante Henric hit a great ball. The corner led Dematik's Cristo Baraquiel to fire away a dangerous shot which Osvaldo Rocendo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Osvaldo Rocendo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolo Mateus, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. If Ildefonso Telesforo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evaristo Olayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Alejandro Firman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bartolo Mateus got free with Osvaldo Rocendo in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dematik's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
