When Urbano Macias fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored IN THE SKY FC's protests and gave Urbano Macias a yellow card for diving instead. Urbano Macias kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nestor Tadzio in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ovidio Urritz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eloy Amor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leopoldo Cebo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in IN THE SKY FC's zone, Melchor Alfonso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovidio Urritz came out of the goal and Melchor Alfonso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leopoldo Cebo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcelino Vistruario went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ovidio Urritz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Tadzio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the match, Reverendo Alegria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Vistruario came free, but Leopoldo Cebo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelino Vistruario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Cebo having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Reverendo Alegria FC's Nestor Tadzio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ovidio Urritz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nestor Sidro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Ovidio Urritz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nestor Sidro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Marcelino Vistruario took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Leopoldo Cebo to make any attempt to save it. Nestor Sidro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ovidio Urritz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Marcelino Vistruario managed to get in a good position for a shot. IN THE SKY FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelino Vistruario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leopoldo Cebo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 68th minute Nestor Tadzio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Urritz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, IN THE SKY FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Tadzio came free, but Ovidio Urritz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nestor Tadzio ran back to his position shaking his head. If Nestor Sidro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eloy Amor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Leopoldo Cebo made a huge save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched IN THE SKY FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
