After a rather tough play, Matancilla FC's Rolando Escobar got a free kick in the 9th minute. Paolo Danel might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ubaldo Jaen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paolo Danel ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 16th minute, Cristobal Ruisko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ubaldo Jaen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 19 minutes, Agustin Araoz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Matancilla FC and the Racinguista players grew even worse after the yellow card. Agustin Araoz hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Ubaldo Jaen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristobal Ruisko's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. The supporters of Racinguista booed when Matancilla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pastor Salomon didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristobal Ruisko in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ubaldo Jaen saved Matancilla FC from getting behind. Matancilla FC's Ubaldo Jaen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Danel in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Paolo Danel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ubaldo Jaen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Ubaldo Jaen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristobal Ruisko in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Ruisko in the 41st minute of play forced Matancilla FC's goalkeeper Ubaldo Jaen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Rolando Escobar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pastor Salomon hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Matancilla FC's zone, Cristobal Ruisko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ubaldo Jaen came out of the goal and Cristobal Ruisko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carmelo Vigil made a kick off. Cristobal Ruisko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ubaldo Jaen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matancilla FC's Ubaldo Jaen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Danel in the 60th minute of play. Paolo Danel had several of the Matancilla FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 62 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Ubaldo Jaen as he didn't even see the shot coming. Matancilla FC's Ubaldo Jaen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Matancilla FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Hurko in the 71st minute of play forced Matancilla FC's goalkeeper Ubaldo Jaen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Racinguista's Remigio Lixandro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Vigil in the 78th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Anacleto Salbatore took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Ubaldo Jaen to make any attempt to save it. 93 minutes into the match, Racinguista's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Marin came free, but Remigio Lixandro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Racinguista's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
