Spectators: 7308 (Terracing: 5482, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edgardo Favila started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Racinguista booed when Candelaria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Modesto Silbestre didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute, Modesto Silbestre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paolo Danel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Alejo Felo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristobal Ruisko in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alejo Felo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 13th match minute, Candelaria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Modesto Silbestre to maneuver through the defense. Alejo Felo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Hurko in the 18th minute of play. After some careless play in the Candelaria defense, Ismael Hurko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alejo Felo. The Candelaria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alejo Felo should have stopped the shot. 23 minutes into the game, Candelaria's Niceto Benvido nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Remigio Lixandro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 26th minute Cristobal Ruisko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejo Felo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Candelaria's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Hurko came free, but Alejo Felo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Cristobal Ruisko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racinguista's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristobal Ruisko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alejo Felo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 37th minute, Silvio Ongile hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 39 minutes, Paolo Danel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racinguista's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paolo Danel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Paolo Danel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racinguista's supporters rose to their feet, but Paolo Danel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alejo Felo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Racinguista were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristobal Ruisko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alejo Felo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristobal Ruisko went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Candelaria's zone, Paolo Danel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejo Felo came out of the goal and Paolo Danel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 60 played minutes Candelaria got a freekick which was hit by Silvio Ongile. Candelaria's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Ismael Hurko scored to the left of an out of position Alejo Felo, making the score, 1-4. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Candelaria's goalkeeper Alejo Felo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Cristobal Ruisko put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of Alejo Felo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Danel in the 71st minute of play forced Candelaria's goalkeeper Alejo Felo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute, Matias Celipe reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alejo Felo. The goal made the score 1-6. A collision led to Candelaria getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Silvio Ongile hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Candelaria's Silvio Ongile got a free kick in the 87th minute. Alejo Felo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paolo Danel, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Edgardo Favila scored 2-7 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Remigio Lixandro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
