But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteve Gonsalve couldn't finish the play. The supporters of fc pajaro booed when Candelaria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Modesto Silbestre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Candelaria's Alejo Felo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Candelaria from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teodoro Gorbea during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to fc pajaro getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Teodoro Gorbea hit a great ball. Romeo Manuelo hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, Candelaria's Modesto Silbestre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marciano Belmiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Niceto Benvido was the one to do the kick off. After 64 played minutes fc pajaro got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Gorbea. After having played for 66 minutes, Niceto Benvido managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Candelaria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niceto Benvido was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marciano Belmiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvio Gudesteo in the 70th minute of the match. A collision led to fc pajaro getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Hermengildo Aurre hit a great ball. After 82 played minutes, fc pajaro's Esteve Gonsalve shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alejo Felo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in fc pajaro reached it. Esteve Gonsalve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejo Felo having to interfere. 91 minutes into the game, Benigno Diagur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Candelaria's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave fc pajaro the free kick. In the 92ndth minute of the game Esteve Gonsalve who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Candelaria's Alejo Felo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Esteve Gonsalve's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alejo Felo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
