Spectators: 7155 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fausto Herena started the match with the kick off. Cucullú's Modesto Eufrasio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Rocio in the 4th minute of play. After 7 minutes, Ruperto Raymon made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Salado's Valentin Ramond tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Vinicio Venceslas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Eufrasio having to interfere. After recieving a nice pass, Salado's Ermegildo Tabor tried to score from far away in the 15th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Roman Eliazar kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 24th minute Cucullú were awarded a corner. Eleuterio Jenaro went to the cornerflag to take it. If Vinicio Venceslas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th match minute, Cucullú was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteve Pasqual to maneuver through the defense. Valentin Ramond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruperto Raymon, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 36 minutes in the game, Ruperto Raymon fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Valentin Ramond having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Salado's zone, Reynaldo Celipe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentin Ramond came out of the goal and Reynaldo Celipe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reynaldo Celipe got free with Valentin Ramond in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Sergio Elivareo fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cucullú's protests and gave Sergio Elivareo a yellow card for diving instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ruperto Raymon made a kick off. If Fausto Herena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vinicio Venceslas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Modesto Eufrasio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ruperto Raymon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Vinicio Venceslas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Reynaldo Celipe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Valentin Ramond tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reynaldo Celipe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute Ruperto Raymon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Ramond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Salado's Vinicio Venceslas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Modesto Eufrasio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Modesto Eufrasio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vinicio Venceslas in the 81st minute. Ruperto Raymon struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Valentin Ramond didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cucullú. In the 85th minute, Reynaldo Celipe made a precise shot to the right of Valentin Ramond. Salado's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. When Severiano Inguma fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Salado's protests and gave Severiano Inguma a yellow card for diving instead. Severiano Inguma kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Ruperto Raymon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Ramond having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Salado players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cucullú.
