Ezequiel Suarez came out of the goal and Claudio Camerino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd match minute, Paredones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Estevez to maneuver through the defense. Sergio Padro, 43 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudio Camerino got free with Ezequiel Suarez in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Justino Betadur was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Camerino in the 54th minute of play forced Paredones FC's goalkeeper Ezequiel Suarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Paredones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mauricio Tab came free, but Ezequiel Suarez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Claudio Camerino, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 69 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ezequiel Suarez was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Mauricio Tab struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Ezequiel Suarez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bermejo FC. 78 minutes into the match, Paredones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Camerino came free, but Ezequiel Suarez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
