When Mauro Quintana came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Pincén fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauro Quintana couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Mauro Quintana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pincén's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauro Quintana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Modesto Eufrasio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Orlando Oier in the 7thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Modesto Eufrasio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 9 minutes into the match, Cucullú's goalkeeper Modesto Eufrasio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orlando Oier. Reynaldo Celipe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Gotzon having to interfere. If Sergio Elivareo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cucullú's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Orlando Oier scored to the left of an out of position Modesto Eufrasio, making the score, 1-0. Cucullú's Justo Pancho suffered a sore thigh after 39 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
Modesto Eufrasio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Orlando Oier's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Orlando Oier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Modesto Eufrasio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elias Gotzon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reynaldo Celipe in the 58th minute. With a little luck, Pincén's Elias Gotzon got control of the ball when Reynaldo Celipe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mauro Quintana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Modesto Eufrasio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Cucullú's zone, Orlando Oier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Modesto Eufrasio came out of the goal and Orlando Oier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Modesto Eufrasio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauro Quintana went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. When Reynaldo Celipe came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Cucullú fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reynaldo Celipe couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Pincén booed when Cucullú was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleuterio Jenaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Pincén's Amadeo Lucado tried to score from far away in the 92nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Orlando Oier struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Modesto Eufrasio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pincén. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cucullú players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pincén.
