Valentin Ramond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Quintana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fausto Herena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Gotzon having to interfere. Feliberto Barbosa's late challenge caught a Salado's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Feliberto Barbosa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th match minute, Pincén was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliberto Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. Pincén's Amadeo Lucado was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Valentin Ramond in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Valentin Ramond successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Salado getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Fausto Herena hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the game, Salado's Fausto Herena nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elias Gotzon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Mauro Quintana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Fausto Herena struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Elias Gotzon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salado. Vinicio Venceslas was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 64th minute. Salado's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 65th minute, Salado's Fausto Herena ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Elias Gotzon. Elias Gotzon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Elias Gotzon came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Salado's Vinicio Venceslas. But to his dismay, Vinicio Venceslas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Elias Gotzon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vinicio Venceslas in the 73rd minute. After 73 played minutes Pincén got a freekick which was hit by Feliberto Barbosa. If Fausto Herena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vinicio Venceslas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Salado walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
