Silvio Eztebe's late challenge caught a SG Automotores's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvio Eztebe helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sherpa FC's Silvio Eztebe got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 23rd match minute, SG Automotores was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonides Suarez to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the game, Laureano Lluterio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lasse Wiedmann. Laureano Lluterio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Laureano Lluterio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lasse Wiedmann having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sherpa FC's Epifanio Nalo got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sherpa FC's zone, Isac Veríssimo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lasse Wiedmann came out of the goal and Isac Veríssimo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SG Automotores's Charis Fotiadis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelino Ikatz in the 45th minute of play. In the 45thth minute of the game Marcelino Ikatz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SG Automotores's Charis Fotiadis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isac Veríssimo made a kick off. Sherpa FC's Lasse Wiedmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isac Veríssimo in the 53rd minute of play. After some careless play in the SG Automotores defense, Clemente Salvadore kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Charis Fotiadis. The SG Automotores fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Charis Fotiadis should have stopped the shot. The SG Automotores fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when SG Automotores's Laureano Lluterio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Charis Fotiadis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelino Ikatz in the 73rd minute of play. Marcelino Ikatz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute, Modesto Christobal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd match minute, Sherpa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Modesto Christobal to maneuver through the defense. Jacobo Canor, 82 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Isac Veríssimo struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Lasse Wiedmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SG Automotores. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SG Automotores fully deserved thier win.
