The audience thought a goal was coming when Guaberto Laurentzi got free with Cristian Telo in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Juan Quin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Telo having to interfere. A collision led to Club Atlético Trentino getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Uriel Luar hit a great ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hipolito Fernandes made a kick off. Hipolito Fernandes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raul Gines having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Hipolito Fernandes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raul Gines was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Maximo Hotz hit a great ball. Wessex's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
