Fidel Venerando might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Placido Jerano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fidel Venerando ran back to his position shaking his head. Arena Blanca F.C's Roberto Ariando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Tiso in the 60th minute of play. If Erasmo Emeterio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Narciso Gar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Roberto Ariando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boca Juniors's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Fidel Venerando 96 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1.
