After a rather tough play, Poma AFC's Joaquin Hanot got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 22nd minute, Jeremias Vachon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the match, Cubanea AFC's Rogelio Hermon broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A collision led to Poma AFC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Santo Eliu hit a great ball. Remigio Brun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 34 minutes, Remigio Brun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cubanea AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Remigio Brun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jacobo Osorio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Desiderio Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Cordarius in the 44th minute of play. Ivan Clodio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Hugo Gonsalvo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacobo Osorio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. In the 74th minute of the match Rogelio Hermon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Desiderio Abreu skillfully saved the ball. An unexpected shot in the 76th minute by Jacobo Osorio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigio Brun in the 78th minute of play forced Poma AFC's goalkeeper Desiderio Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Efrain Matthew fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cubanea AFC's protests and gave Efrain Matthew a yellow card for diving instead. Hugo Gonsalvo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacobo Osorio in the 85th minute of the match. Ivan Clodio struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Hugo Gonsalvo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Poma AFC. Ivan Clodio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Hugo Gonsalvo made a huge save. Cubanea AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
